HHMI Faculty-Student Dinners
"As part of the HHMI grant, we seek to establish inclusive co-curricular activities to build faculty-student learning communities and support networks. Our goal for the “What’s Your Story” dinners are for faculty to meet and converse with students about academic success, time management, perseverance, and the collective diversity of the backgrounds on our campus. The first dinner was hosted in November 2018 and three or four events have been hosted every semester since. We hope these events promote community building and a lasting culture of inclusion between faculty and students in STEM."
